As you may or may not have seen in my work post, our Child Development Center is closing as another cdc bought the buildings.So I filled out the application I was given, updated my resume and turned it all over with the release so they could get my finger print report, background check, last pay stub and whatever they wanted or needed from my files ( Read more... )

First day back at work Had people running up to me and hugging. Guessed they missed me a little.
Really glad I only went back for 4 hours a day.
Very tired. Think I'll sleep well tonight.

Thanks to all for the good wishes and encouragement over the job I was considering. Unfortunately it would require me to work Sundays and that is just not possible at this time and the (very small) raise in pay wasn't worth the extra requirements ( Read more... )

I still have a job after the 2nd of Jan! I even had to sign a statement that I understood my job ended on the second. ( and especially after taking off two sick days this week) But there I am on the schedule for plenty of hours, not quite as many as I'd like, but enough.
