we'll wake up this morning a little better than we were before
the 48 degree weather today definitely made everything feel like springtime. this morning i met with the preceptor who would be training me, and she "interviewed" me. we chatted a while and at the end of the interview i met the regional director, who had a weak handshake. and contrary to what i had thought, they WERE interviewing a few other candidates. so the administrator told me that they'll call today or tomorrow and let me know their decision. so now i am in a state of purgatory, awaiting the phone call that will determine my future. this dialysis job just feels like a right fit.
and of course afterwards i was full of nervous energy. so i splurged and bought a book called the best buddhist writing 2008. the essays seem to cover a wide span in topics and authors; hopefully i can take some lessons from what i read. i've found that since going back to school i've been reading much more than i had before... and i don't just mean books for school. hmm.
i've been churning out dreamcatchers like crazy lately. especially last weekend. and if i ever finally own the craft/coffee shop from my dreams, i will produce dreamcatchers in mass quantity. but the reason i'm telling you this is because today's natalie dee HAS a dreamcatcher! she and i must be connected on some other plane of existence. seriously, i am NOT joking.
