My favourite mittens have given out.  I love these mittens for the separated index finger.  It makes fiddling for keys or whatnot so much easier in the cold.  I'd popped both the thumbs last year, ripped them back and re-knit them.  But they are starting to get bald spots and I've run out of this yarn in the stash.  Time for a new pair.
