Newspaper in Print
I'm thinking of subscribing to the print edition of a newspaper. Right now, just deciding between the Wall Street Journal, LA Times, and NY Times. If I were motivated, I suppose an online edition of the paper would do just as well as its print edition. My motivations for condoning tree-murder is two-fold: 1.) Saving my eyes for old age, and 2.) Being able to mark up (circling, underlining) and write commentary/thoughts as I read.
I've gone through high school and most of college being apolitical. But growing older, as I build up a foundational understanding of history, constitution, and public policy as well as finding my identity within our sea of pluralism, I am becoming more opinionated and more hungry for news items and analysis to think on.
