Aeon stepped out of the shower, water dripping from her as she started to dry herself. Another day had passed. Another day was spent listening to the emptiness of the house she once shared with two other people. The air in it seemed heavier without two other bodies helping to take it away ( Read more... )

Eros knocked, actually knocked on her door. This behaving mortal had its perks but this was not one of them. His gifts are wrapped but they are simple and unique offerings that only two people who love deeply would cherish. He hoped she had no plans for today. Because he may have remembered to knock but he forgot to call.

Aeon's head turned as she heard a distant knock on the door. She frowned in wondering who it could be. She had not seen or heard from anyone in a long time, days if not weeks. So few also knew anyone was here.

Setting her cup down, Aeon got up to enter inside, making her way through the living room and to the front door. She pulled one the door, dressed in a simple pair of faded worn jeans and a shirt that belonged to Alex.

"Darling," She smiled a bit surprised. "Knocking? How gallant of you." It was a tease because she knew he could appear at any moment, any where he chose. She reached out, taking an arm to draw him in for a kiss upon his cheek.

"Come in," She stepped aside to let him in before closing the door. "And what do I owe the pleasure?"

"A spur of the moment desire to see you and good news/" Besides the gifts, he had come to tell her of his now divorced state. It wouldn't change much, he knew. But Eros wanted Aeon to know and have peace in her heart that she was the only one in his life at this very moment.

"Gallant, I should knock more often then if I get kisses such as those. You look beautiful, Aeon." Eros smiled.

Aeon closed the door behind her lover, locking it as she does out of habit. She leaned against the door, just drinking him in before pushing from it and going back out to the open air where her tea sat. "I was just... enjoying the fresh air. It's officially summer you know," she smiled sadly because there was no festival to enjoy it.

"And you, by the way, look as handsome as ever," She offered him a seat as she sat down, pushing the laptop out of the way. The small unique computer not taking much room. "Would you like some tea or something else to drink?"
