Just another day...
Aeon stepped out of the shower, water dripping from her as she started to dry herself. Another day had passed. Another day was spent listening to the emptiness of the house she once shared with two other people. The air in it seemed heavier without two other bodies helping to take it away.
She walked over to her laptop, checking what messages she had. She then sighed as none were there. Figures. She pushed away then turned to get dressed. The workout she had earlier didn't seem to help bleed anything away. She was still in this funk she had.
She walked outside with a glass of tea, sitting in one of the chairs with her laptop by her. She didn't know why it was there, just had it. Maybe she will get lucky and hear from Alex or from someone, like Maximillian. For now, she would relax then think of things she might do this evening.
She wondered how the people she knew were doing. She did check on Vic. Without him knowing. She also checked on Sestra and Erik. They were doing fine, still had not set a date. She watched them from one of the windows as he was showing her how to dance. It was a sight that was like a dream. She had thought of Hsu but did not go around. She knew some of what he was up to but did not get involved. That was his business, not hers and for once she kept her nose out of it.
She leaned back in the chair, drinking her tea. Damn but it was too silent these days.
