i think i need to say some things.......
i genuinely love gay people BECAUSE i'm a christian. NOT inspite of it...
when i love, i DON'T have an agenda. i love them for WHO they are, and i WON'T try to change them to fit MY MOLD because i give them credit for having a brain, beauty, the capacity to love genuinely, the respect they deserve - NOT pity, NOT fear, and NOT judgement. So you who call yourselves christians, and treat them like they're dangerous, get as close to them as your fifty foot pole allows, YOU are the ones i have trouble accepting.

"what i said was NOT for pity, concern or anything. what i said wasn't difficult for me to say. although i've never told anyone that part of my story, it's totally in the past, and honestly, it has NOTHING to do with today, there was nothing i said that i was ashamed of. i'm not ashamed of something that helped mold me and shape me.
I'M NOT ASHAMED OF WHO I WAS, BECUASE IT PROVES JUST HOW FAR I'VE COME.

for the very first time, we got it out in the open. i just experienced total freedom in that area. for the first time we talked about what happened, why it happened, and for the first time, i feel like i have no reason to be ashamed of what i did. i did the right thing....and HE UNDERSTANDS THAT. i can't tell you how much lighter i feel. my past has been cleared. my guilty consience has been freed from the bondage of regret.
