After 2 years and 3 months, I am driving crosscountry again. This seems to be a bittersweet pilgramage. I'm covering the same ground that I have been over at least 14 times between 1996 to 2006. This time I am on my own, I don't have my partner with me. We traveled well together. I think I will miss him more on this trip than I did in Tucson. When we were on the road we shared the work and play up until November of 2006 when the ER visits started and I had to do more caregiving.
Anyway as I started to write I'm on my way to Madison for a visit with family and friends. Plus there is a Memorial Service, a Celebration of his life on Saturday April 2:00 p.m. at Prairie UU Society.
