My cell phone was down to two bars so I waited to go into the hospital until it was charged. I phoned the patient when I was on my way and the Dr. was in the room so she talked to me on the phone. She wants to keep wayfinder38 in the hospital until he finishes the full course of IV antibiotics as she wants to make sure the pneumonia is dealt with unlike the last time when he was discharged to oral meds. I of course agreed as this sounds like the wisest thing to do. She also said he was much more mentally alert today.

In fact when I got to the hospital I found that he was well enough to be cranky. He was rather irritable today. The nurses had changed his diet designation to diabetic and he wanted the regular designation back again. Today's RN agreed and changed it back to regular. The Doctor had told him to eat and keep up his energy.

I have to get a new battery for the Subaru so the next set of visitors will have a car to use. I also have to find a motel for Laurelei and family to stay in when they arrive next week.Most of the reviews of the affordable ones are dreadful. The hospital gave me a list of places that will give a discount to families needing to stay near a family member in the UMC system.

My j key on my iBook is hypersensitive and I keep getting jjjjjjjjj that I have to delete. Must be time for an upgrade.
