Today I am embarking on a grand adventure...
...and I am bringing a pocket handkerchief! The Lubee crew is going out to lunch at the Top downtown for Jordan's birthday. I would normally be at work, and ride along with them in the company vehicle, but I requested today off because it's my mom's birthday. I had planned on visiting her today and requested the day off before we were down to one car. Anyway, I am going to ride the bus! I have never ridden a public bus (a school bus, yes). I am riding to the downtown station, and then walking to the Top. I am excited. It's a pretty nice day, especially in the shade. There is a bit of a breeze. I am going to buy a day's pass. I can ride all over town if I want to. I could go to the mall and buy a Webkinz bat!
Did I mention the World of Warcraft servers are down all day today. Otherwise I'd be trying to get my dwarf hunter to 70. She made 62 last night...I guess I need to experience real life once in a while. =P
Tomorrow we are going to Jacksonville to see my mom. I am going to giver her this painting for her birthday. She likes owls.
