i like the outfit you ended up with. you always find something cute there. i think i'd shop there too if their clothes were sized differently or i wasn't so lazy about returns. that's why i end up shopping at delia's or other stores meant for little people.
I think for about two months, but at one point he said that's just when there's a break -- then you can just pick up another turnaround after that.
Yeah, true. that's perhaps why it's best to be in the store where you can try everything on till something fits (at least if you don't want to have the clothes altered like what grandma did to those first two shirts I ordered) ;D I think it varies widely 'cause of the different brands they carry.
..and well, you've at least heard a song each from Eluvium and TV-Resistori now thanks to my mix! (even if the Eluvium track wasn't very representative of their stuff). Here's a track off Copia: prelude for time feelers
I wanted to get the new Explosions in the Sky, but had forgotten I had preordered it till an email was sent to me a day before I went to the store, so I just touched it briefly ;D
that is true about the mix (though it is in the car, and i am terrible with remembering band names). i keep referring to it when i'm driving - bad habit! i'm going to end up rear-ending someone! knock on wood.
Ooooh, love your photos!!! You are just so adorable!!!!!!!!
Vinyl Edge looks kewl. Reminds me of this one store over in Orlando. They get all sorts of hard to find stuff. I can't even remember the name of it now. I'm losing my mind.
Thanks! :D I'm just glad the bump on my nose isn't visible in most of my new photos.. heh.
Ahh.. I think most cities have at least one independent record store out there. it's just that most of the good ones here are 40min-1hr away :\ but yeah, I could've gotten a lot more while there, but wanted albums I wouldn't likely find in a place like Borders of Best Buy. my best purchase was the Arovane album which I got for around $13 when sellers online are asking around $30-70 for it.
