Amusing Car Chase
I just spent the better part of 2hrs watching a car chase on tv. this thing is hilarious. even mom stopped what she was doing to watch.. she called the guy "Pickup Truck Hero" 'cause he had a nice way of maneuvering around things -- as graceful as a ballet dancer!
I say it's like O.J. but instead of a white bronco, it's a white pickup truck.
Really, it caught my attention first 'cause the guy was in the Clear lake area, so I wanted to see if I recognised it. I didn't really.. he was rolling around cul-de-sacs in some neighbourhood.
The funniest parts were when he sped through a golf course for people 55 and over, kicking up sand and ruining the landscape plus when his tires were busted and he was riding on the rim off the road and into the bayou.
It's still going on, too.. sort've. they're at a standstill with him sitting in the car surrounded. it's apparently about 105 degrees in there; I think I'd be dead by then; I mean, about 40min sitting out there? yikes!
Right now they just said he was holding a gun at his head saying he wasn't giving up; they're going to continue showing this till there's an end. wouldn't that be nice if he died live on tv? hurrah. I guess since we can't see him with the tinted windows, it's not graphic, but still bizarre.

Oh yeah.. and this all started over a robbery at a dry cleaners where he asked to use the phone then ripped the cord from the wall then proceeded to take $200. yeah, all that for $200. maybe drug money? heh.
