Refreshing Drink Recommendation:
*

I've discovered the answer to a happy sparkling water w/fruit juice experience. GET RID OF THE SUGAR!
Yes... the sugar is what gives it that wacky flavour. I thought I once liked Clearly Canadian -- especially since it wasn't the sort with artificial sweetener (this word looks weird after staring at it too long). no, no... I had some Clearly Canadian recently (I was shocked it still existed.. I thought it was just a thing of the '90s past) and I could barely finish it. the sugar was too overpowering to have with anything. either the new version added something to it (as I hadn't read the ingredients) or I just forgot since it was a drink I liked as a kid and we can see how that can alter the memory. tons of sugar is needed in everything around then. I just seem to remember it being milder. the only good of it is that it doesn't leave a bad aftertaste. it just isn't too refreshing either.

Now! thanks to The Guest on one of his many visits, he provided me with this Izze concoction thinking I wouldn't at all appreciate it (he only gives things that are sure to give a blank stare.. he calls this particular 'gift' his failure). he was very surprised when I liked it so much, I now became so addicted, if I run out, I go into withdrawal mumbling, "Need the bubbly. need bubbles now!" it's good that natural fruit juices and sparkling water together don't really damage like possibly other addictions could. their only fault is that they're a tad expensive and mom is sad I don't just like regular soda anymore. in fact, stuff like Sprite tastes bad, too. I can actually taste the sugar when I couldn't before. actually, that could be why I dislike Clearly Canadian now, too; the obviously added sugar.

Anyway, if you want something to be addicted to that is light, refreshing AND bubbly like soda then please, try these!
I particularly like the orange (it is said to be clementine, but I just call it orange) and blackberry best.

I'd stay away from it as a fashion statement though!

* Okay, I got that particular flavour (ie; blueberry) this past weekend 'cause of this review. really, it didn't taste enough like blueberry to deserve its five stars... I thought it tasted more like the grape which is obviously in it. but I guess that wasn't exotic enough. I think I'll stick to my two favourites for now
