Characters: Luxord, Tyki, Open
Date: early evening
Summary: Luxord is off the train and getting himself to his new lodgings
Warnings: A general lack of morality between two gamblers

Being greeted by fog when he got off the train had brought back memories from when he was younger, vague as they were after his "demise" and a rebirth into un-life followed by a much more expeditious expiration. He was getting very good at playing his cards right and cheating Death; it wasn't a game he was keen to play on anything but his own rules, but one he was particularly fond of winning.

As used as he was to fog so thick you could barely see the pavement, let alone your feet, it was certainly making it difficult to navigate his way across an unfamiliar campus with nothing more than a map in a pamphlet. Luxord is pretty sure Lady Luck must be accompanying him when he finally finds himself outside of Malacca Heights with little idea of how he actually got there.

He heads up to his suite, setting down his suitcase by the door and tucking the pamphlet into a pocket as he begins fishing for his keys. ... And fishing some more. Different pockets- not there either. There was going to be a great deal of cursing in a few moments if he had managed to lose them on the trip over. "You've got to be kidding," he mutters to himself. It figures- Luck was never the lady she ought to be.
