[Closed] Thread: Outside the sky waits, beckoning!

Characters: Rydia of Mist, Sheik of the Sheikah
Date: UHM. Let's make it for today. This mid-afternoon or so.
Summary: Sheik's invited Rydia to take a walk. The rain is letting up and turning into fog. Sounds romantic, right? He doesn't know what sort of interrogation awaits him. He's going to have to prove to everyone he's not some 'creeper', though.
Warnings: Pff. It's Sheik and Rydia. Likely not.

I should have known, he thought to himself. It's not always a walk in the park for me to obtain the blessings of other people, especially considering my own position in this poorly-written play. I don't find it amusing, and I cannot wait for this act to end.

There was no need to look in a mirror. There was no need to dress nicely. There was no need for this or that with the various gussying up. Sheik preferred Rydia naturally and assumed she returned the sentiments. After all, they'd gotten to attend the prom in their standard attire. In all honesty, Sheik had a difficult time viewing Rydia in anything other than that green ensemble. It seemed to fit her. It made her look like that eternal image of Farore he had up in his head. He thought about it constantly, too. The similarities, the differences, and came to find that no matter what the situation was, he truly adored Rydia for who exactly she was.

He wanted to play the part of the gentleman. In doing so, he found himself at her dormitory door, room 202, with the princess who was obsessed with pink and had been staying with the sorceress who'd made Sheik think once or twice about his actions on the campus. After he knocked, he straightened himself out, adjusting his bandages and doing what he could to hide his ears, and the unnecessary features of his face. Whoever would have thought that waiting for her, though, could have made him so anxious?
