(um, CA, wtf dudes? The nation elects a black man but ya'll decide that for marriage it's back to separate but not equal? Barack is *not* smiling at you.) 

Waaay behind, not only on the goal, but also on the recording of the books I've read, and such. Probably a loss for the year, but I want to at least record the ones I've read. It hit me just now.

I was trying to explain to my daughter who the man on the CNN page was, and why he was special. I didn't even have a frame of reference for explaining that his skin was a different color than hers.
