Fan fiction
Can I just say I love the little gadget on Fanfic.net that tells you where your readers are from? My next to most recent upload, "Changes," has one reader from Estonia. I just thinks that's cool.
Also, from the no kidding department, it is interesting to note that Doctor Who fiction has a wide range of readers from around the world, while, say, Star Wars is more limited to the US and Canada, if my fic readers are an indication.
Now my professional blog gets hits from around the world, as does this one, and that's exciting too, but for some reason fandom readers just make me happy.
