holidays..
Why do holidays always "bring families together" ? I do not like my family (ok really its only my father I really don't like) but still. I am an american so I had Thanksgiving. Everyone was there except my mother and father. (half-yay XD) Then the whole Christmas thing is coming. I am happy because this year I am actually talking and am a part of most of my family so I get presents *__* But everything leading up to that is just chaotic.
First is all the decorating. Why we have to decorate to such an extreme is beyond me. And again, I'm american, an for some reason that means we start decorating the day after halloween.
Second is all the cooking. I love to cook, really, but constantly making sweets and deserts is ridiculous.
Then there is the "parties". No idea why my grandparents call them parties when there are no where near fun. XD But I must go cause if I am "a good-girl" (which means acting so proper it hurts) they might give me a laptop *___* (that sounds a little selfish.. >_> .. oh well XDD) But that would be soo great if I got a laptop. Then I could take it on my trip with me and be able to talk to Cami while on the plane. :D
