well, i can identify with the long distance deal in some ways. i offer advice from experience about how my boyfriend and i of a year and a half make it... it may or may not work for you, but we've found this stuff to be very effective in dealing with the distance

Long Distance Relationships tend to take a bit more work, but are still worth it in the long run. Until and unless he gives you a reason to doubt him, I wouldn't worry. I live around 5 hours away from my girlfriend and I would never consider leaving her for another girl. There's some unique problems that go along with LDR's, but mostly it's just that people miss each other a whole lot all the time.
Could you go there with him possibly ? If so, I would try to do that. Let us know how it goes and good luck !
Here, I'll be #5 to jump in and say LDRs can work and I'm living proof:-)...I'm about to hit 2 years with my boy, and we've been LDR the entire time (hopefully that can change this fall, but we're not sure yet)...pretty much anything I'd say was already said above...it's hard, yes...but if you're really in love and think he's THE one, it won't seem like such a dreaded thing to deal with, it'll be easier to deal with because you have such faith in the relationship and are so strongly committed to making it work...I think that the only people who can say they hate thier LDR for the work that it requires are the people who aren't entirely sure they want to be with the other person...and they're also more likely to fail...those of us who are sure that we want the relationship, we just go with the flow and don't mind the extra effort it requires....like people who hate their job hate going to work, but people who love their job don't mind it as much
