Hi there...

There are no strict rules to having an eating disorder. There can be combinations of anorexia and bulimia and overeating, etc. I believe some called it EDnos or something similar which means your eating behaviors aren't normal but you don't specifically fit one criteria or another to a T.

I think you might want to check out http://www.sparkpeople.com Its not a dieting site, it's a site that can help you change your life style when it comes to food and exercise. Its 100% free and you can look up healthy recipes, read interesting and informative articles about nutrition, exercise, food, health, etc. You also can track what you eat and in turn see how many calories you should be consuming, as well as a balance of fat, protein and carbs. The site also has exercise videos and moves to do and message boards where you can get support and guidance from the people that run the site as well as other users of the site.

In the meantime, you might want to talk to a doctor about your issues with food. and your parents. Might be good to have some support now before things really go out of control. I also suggest you read about eating disorders....so you can truly know the consequences of them. Its more than rotting teeth from purging, it's more then being weak, it's more than not being able to have children (if you want them in the first place), it can mean death.

I hope this helps. You're not alone!

~Becky
