Good News on Surgery
My dad came out of the surgery ok. They have a drainage tube attached to his skull, and he has to stay with his head down, and everything attached until Friday. He is very impatient, and nervous. His method of coping with difficulty has always been to go outside and work. Well, obviously this is not going to allow him that, he has to lie there 24hrs/day till Friday. No fun t'all. But the good news is that he is doing well, and he has regained full use of his arm and leg. We expect a full recovery. There may be some subtle changes for a while though, since he is still recovering.
Thanksgiving should be interesting. He had to have all his hair shaved off too, so I'm sure that's something to get used to.
Test tomorrow... I feel like just resolving to mediocrity, just a little studying to get by. Yeah, my attitude sucks. I need a pep talk. :: This is war, you are a fighter, dust off and keep going:: Yeah, the overworked "blah, blah, blah," applies here!! Whatever happens, I can still get my old job back at Snell, and it really isn't that bad. I'll let you know when I get there.
