Does anybody who reads this know a lot about free-pattern cross-stitch? Because the Tetris heart pattern was 58 stitches across, and came out around 6x4in. The next one I want to do, however, is 242 stitches across, and I would really rather it not be 25 inches wide - that's just too enormous. So aside from getting higher-count aida (which I'll have to do anyway), is there anything I can do to make it a more manageable size? Come to do the math, actually, the Tetris heart should have turned out smaller, since I used 14-count aida...Oh, well. If I can find some 22-count and it still adds 2 inches, I'll be okay with 13. If it adds a third, however, 15 is starting to get too big.
Anyhow, I'd really appreciate any advice anybody might have. In the meantime I'mnot going to worry too much about it and finish watching Hellboy.
