"Gravity, stay the hell away from me"
ARGH I hate Megaupload D: It gets picky so I can't download more than two Kanjani PV's inside an hour or whatever. Boo hiss!
In similarly frustrating news, I went to try on dresses for the wedding this weekend today, and three of them were varying degrees of disastrous, and the one I was really excited about had the anti-theft ink tag thing right on the zipper so I couldn't work it to try it on. The lady running hte dressing rooms didn't seem all that bothered about it when I told her, so I am planning to try the Debenham's at Meadowhall Wednesday or Thursday.
In the last two days, I have also downloaded a TON of music that I may or may not like, but I mostly got because I heard one track on House (hence the icon) and it's easier to just fetch the whole album than to look for individual tracks. Also I got tired of my copy of Jay Chou's Dào Xiāng cutting off 2/3rd through the song, so I downloaded that whole album (Capricorn).
Relatedly, I have just spent the last twenty minutes trying to figure out exactly what I needed to do to input characters without ALT codes or special references, because apparently the creators of these shortcuts were not hip to the macron's jive. I'm not convinced I've done it right, but we'll see. And anyway that's what "Edit this post" is for.
Anyone who likes musicals, Kristin Chenoweth, etc, should thank decibals_star for sending this video my way - it's from 2005, and has Kristin Chenoweth singing Cunegonde from Candide, and it's hilarious. I am constantly baffled by YouTube commentors, though, because one of the replies I saw today said they would "prefer real operatic sopranoes in this song" ...I'm sorry, what? Kristin Chenoweth is a real operatic soprano who switched to musical theater because she wanted to. If you mean you prefer acting that doesn't involve character singing (which some of this song does, including some of her "laughing" bits and high notes), say so, I guess? I mostly wish people would get their facts straight and/or know what they mean to say and actually say it before saying something dumb like that. Oh, well - as far as stupid YouTube comments go, this is basically the mildest possible infraction, but still XD
I'm going to go find some way to occupy myself for the next couple of hours. It will probably include moving things into my new, larger purse (it's green!), fixing the sheet on the bed/couch down here, and who knows what else.
