Anyone know how to cut plate glass? I have some 4x6" pieces that really want to be 1x1.5" pieces. (And then bezel-set.)

Today was the last cake class. arjache and I frosted the cake dummies in record time, and somehow made it to class. Final assignment was to make something involving writing, roses, and a shell border. Picture under the cut. CAKE!

I was wondering how I'd get the sleeves of the Big Damn Sweater to match gradients, and then gipsieee showed me this sweater (you really should look at it, it made me happy just to see it) and I saw that the neck was done by steeking. Noro Big Kureyon no. 7 for the win. It's like the yarn in the pattern, only softer and in a prettier colorway. Tahki has discontinued all the colors of the specified yarn that I like.
