If I had a nickel for everytime someone told me "You can buy it online!" I would be rich enough to just skip the whole pesky career change and spend my life looking at things to buy online.
Dammit, internets. I am very clear on this. A jpeg is not a substitute for an understanding of how any random object of desire will work for you. Apple understands this, for all the annoyance of actually using their products. I am insistent on having a physical store with at least floor models of all goods, should it ever become relevant. Hate that I'm posting consumer wank because I have nothing less banal to say, but I am not going to buy a new computer from an untrusted manufacturer sight unseen.
