Saw Coraline in 3D last night, at gotham_bound's urging over brunch. I want to see it again, which is my idea of high praise for movies. So beautifully done, and the 3D elements were really imaginatively placed

They were really wonderful. Lots of mother-of-pearl and tortoiseshell inlays (sometimes inlaid forms of calligraphed designs themselves, which just blew my mind, knowing how difficult it is to do inlay on *polygons*). I'm entirely OK with calling it hot.
