Done with the actual knitting on Soleil. If it fits, I will feel reasonably confident that I can knit actual garments. *shock*
Must finish weaving in ends before starting the crochety parts. There aren't that many, but they still feel like they're multiplying.
It occurred to me that I never actually learned how to weave in. I just do what I do with peyote beadwork, which is to run the thread down at angles on the WS, throwing in the odd loop back around - it leaves a subtle diamond pattern in the wrong side. Here's hoping that's good enough.
Today was much, much too exciting. Suspect tomorrow will be at the other extreme, since I finally finished East Coast Newspaper Project today.
