When: Now-ish? When Rukia wakes up after staggering into the clinic exhausted and just crashes on an available bed.

Faust's expression worsened briefly. He was alone in his endeavors for the time being. It wasn't the most pleasant prospect, but it was what he was familiar with at least. The only question he could ask himself was what would Unohana say to him practicing his...'arts' in her presence.

At least she seemed more understanding than most. He met her smile with one of his own and rose. "Thank you, Frau." Stepping over delicately to the cabinet he began his search, taking antiseptic, and some blessed morphine, a vial or two more than necessary for himself, but he did have the forethought that Unohana might not be around when there was an emergency. He only regretted he wouldn't be able to inoculate himself anymore from the looks of it. It wasn't like he was intending on fighting though. Next he gathered other supplies for repairing himself, such as gauze, bandages, syringes, and more needle & thread, just in case.

"I do think I might be ready.." He sat down and slid off his lab-jacket and only then started changing his bandages. "I must apologize for my ragged appearance, when I arrived, I was just finishing... A battle." One that had certainly not gone his way, he could only pray Eliza was still whole when he found her. The thought of his love, battered and broken paled him noticably. "If there is not anything else you wish to discuss, Frau Unohana, I will take up no more of your time for today." He said finally, in the midst of his bandaging himself.

Unohana knew a dismissal when she heard one, and she was not inclined to hinder her temporary guest in his endeavors. However, she was also not one to turn anyone down when they clearly needed help.

"That is nothing to apologize about, Faust-san. However, if you insist on leaving here, I myself will have to insist that you take as many supplies as you need before doing so. I will not have anyone leave this place while in a time of need. Feel free to take as much as you need. I will just ask that if you find a steady supply of those drugs, you inform me of it. I would like to secure more of it, just in case it might be useful."

She bowed again, and turned to leave, without re-setting the barrier. There was no need for her to have it with him around. His appearance alone would probably keep Katou-san away, and she could lock things up afterwards.

"Take all the time you need, Faust-san. If you or Arisato-san need anything, I will be in the front room."
