Rukia sat up slowly, blinking sleep out of her eyes, feeling wrinkled all over since she'd slept in her clothes. She rubbed her neck as she bent her head from side to side, stretching it.
So this was where Unohana had made her new home. The room was simple, and nothing at all like any part of Soul Society that she could remember. She supposed that meant little to the captain, as long as she could properly do her work. And if the story was true, if space and time were really being twisted, pulled together...there would be a lot of work to be done.
She wondered if hollows would be pulled here as well, or if new ones would develop if people died here. Who knew how the afterlife worked in this kind of world?
