Summary: Toph and Kurama both have the idea to try and levee the river to try and prevent any flooding
Anyone who comes in wanting to help, your thread will occur after Kurama and Toph meet. And posting order can be YOU-KURAMA-TOPH or something.
Toph knew that this event wasn't going to be a pleasant one. Just the fact that it dealt with this much water was reason enough for her to dislike it. But, it wasn't long before she realized just how bad this storm was going to be and that it wasn't going to let up for at least a week. That meant the lake and the river were most likely going to flood, and that would only mean more trouble for everyone else.
It didn't take her long to decide to do something about it. She grabbed a jacket on her way out of the house and began making her way to the river (using her bending on the mud to slide across the land and get there faster). When she did arrive, she immediately went to work.
Toph made sure her feet were firmly set on the ground (using her bending to reinforce the mud around her and making it a bit more solid) before she began her work, rising the levels of the earth on the edge of the river, building a wall first before trying to put support in it.
Once she got a few of these walls up, she'd use her PCD and get some backup from those who might be of use. Toph knew that her earthbending was amazing, but even she couldn't do this on her own.
