Of Candy, Picnics and Dates

Summary: Ukitake and Urahara go out on their 'date'.
Humming, Urahara quickly set everything up by the lake before stepping back and taking a critical look at it. Nodding to himself in satisfaction, he picked up the bouquet lying in the grass and headed towards Ukitake's house. Today was their 'date', though he knew full well that the other man didn't think of it as one (or perhaps, would rather not consider it as one). Besides, though he was the one to call it a date, it was more to see Ukitake blush rather than actually asking Ukitake out on one. He planned on it simply being the two of them spending some time together, another step in his convincing Ukitake to accept him and making things slightly less awkward. Of course, that didn't stop him from making sure that everything was as good as they could be. After all, no one said that the time spent together couldn't be romantic~
So there he was, knocking on Ukitake's door, the bouquet hidden behind his back. And yes, that was indeed a candy bouquet.
