WHERE: Outside the church, and then the clinic
WHEN: The night of March 17th
RATING: Uh. PG-13 for the post-suicide aspect.
There had been dust whipping around the church all day. As sundown approached, the ashes twisted closer together. By nightfall it had formed indistinct shapes on the stone floor, which were easily dashed apart. Still they came together, gradually forming the outline of a human.
By midnight, the ashes had taken on a solid form.
By three a.m., Horst was curled on the floor, shaking. He was pale and gaunt and sick looking; his eyes burned blue in the dark, the only healthy thing about him.
