Dreamscape: Ciel Phantomhive

Summary: Ciel's mind. Not the best place in the world to be stuck in. But hey, everyone has to get out once in a while.
"Welcome, Earl Phantomhive! Tonight I will accompany you to a world of pleasure that will leave you dazzled!"
Your hands, soft and small, are curled around a balancing rod. Below your feet is the firmness of rope, and beyond that, nothing but air.
Down, down, down is the floor of a stage. Children, small and doll-like, stare upwards with dead eyes through their garishly painted masks. Beyond the stage a long table is set, and a boy in a top hat with an eye patch is seated there, a butler in a swallowtail coat standing at the ready.
A man in a wheelchair is covered in bandages, and the ringleader, a young man in face paint, has a skeleton hand. He gestures to you.
"First we have the tightrope walker. With no lifeline or net, this is the real deal!"
Your body lurches forwards, and your feet balance on the rope, small toes just barely finding purchase. To no end.
You are falling, falling, watching the floor rush up to meet you. Just before you hit, you catch sight of the horrified look on the boy's face.
Crunch.
The man in the wheelchair laughs, hysterically, and the world breaks, tears, shatters, leaving you only to wake, drenched in sweat-
Or perhaps you recognized that boy. Perhaps you are drawn to that face... if so, you will stay asleep... and fall deeper into a very personal nightmare.
