Summary: Two people who never expected to see each other again. Ever.
Regardless of being unfamiliar with this place, it didn't take too long to find it. Somewhere along the way, Kanda managed to pick up a relatively clean sheet of sorts to cover up. Really, he didn't particularly mind walking around without a shirt, but considering how many people were advising him to go to the clinic over the PCD.. thing..
Well. It was probably best to hide the worst of it and avoid concerning most of those he passed by.
And when he was almost there, that was when a certain someone decided to speak up.
It's odd, you know. To talk to someone after what was intended to be the last words ever spoken between them. If ever asked, Kanda might admit to never expecting to even hear of Allen again.
The idea of an impostor never crossed his mind when he hit the yellow button, nor when he responded. He'd just have to wait and see for himself.
So there he sat on the steps in front of the clinic building, elbows propped up on his knees, both hands clasped in front of his chin. The PCD rested in the crook between one leg and his torso, where he glanced down at often to check for other messages.
And he waited.
