It takes Raven quite a bit of effort to get the door open, but she can eventually manage to pass through. When she walks into the room, she enters a large ornate hall: the throne room of Camelot's castle. Oblivious to her presence, she can see Arthur and his father, King Uther Pendragon, arguing loudly near the front of the hall. She can catch snippets of the conversation--something about poison, Merlin, a flower. Arthur looks and sounds more frustrated by the moment, but his father is having none of it. All he gets back is that manservants don't count as much as he does, that he is to be future king and this sort of behavior is unacceptable, that Arthur will be locked up in the dungeons if he so much as steps towards the exit of the castle. That he should accept the fact that people will die for him. It is how things are, and he should just get used to it.
Arthur's subsequent silence causes Uther to stand up and stride out of the room, slamming the door behind him. He does not see Raven's presence at all, but if she listens, she can hear him mutter loudly about how much of a disappointment Arthur is.
Raven gives a start when the door is slammed violently next to her. She clearly hears what the king says about Arthur as he leaves the room. But she immediately wishes she didn't. Arthur probably wouldn't wish for anyone to hear that. Also she can sense the anger and frustration still radiating from him further to his stormy discussion with his father.
Wondering if Arthur will be able to see her or just ignore her presence like his father did, she takes a few steps in his direction.
"I didn't catch all of it." She takes a few more step to close the distance between them. "But from what I heard, you've got nothing to be sorry about, nor to be ashamed of. You were defending your friend. I'm sorry your Father won't understand that."
Raven reaches out to place a comforting hand on Arthur's arm. "...Did something happen to Merlin?"
