Horst had been sitting with his back against the steeple, listening to the various sounds in the city. No screams yet; he could only assume that meant that Kurotsuchi really had soundproofed his lab.

When he heard Cloud, he walked to the edge of the roof and peered down at him. Then he hopped down and explained, "I think better when I walk. Usually." He bumped shoulders with Cloud as he walked past him, leading him around the side of the church. It was an expression of gratitude, of sorts.

"Have you heard anything? From Rei or anyone?"

He watched the other drop down in front of him, highly unimpressed by the little stunt. After all, it wasn't like he had never done the trick himself. He waited until the other had walked past him, before twisting and following after, eyes searching their surroundings carefully.

"I've been busy." Aka unless it was important or he could have helped in some way, Rei wouldn't have told him. he hadn't talked to her much in the past few days anyway. He'd had too much on his plate. "So you get to fill me in."

"I don't know if you know Yuca well. Or at all. He's immortal, in that he's always reborn with all his memories in tact." Horst had had enough time to stuff his emotions into neat little boxes again, so his tone was even, as if he were just reciting facts. "He hasn't had pleasant lives. Anyway, he's gone to Kurotsuchi for help. He's done this before and it...it led to him killing people. Frau Elric, for one."

Horst paused to pick a direction, and led them up an obscured path. "It looks like he may become as dangerous and unstable as he was then."

He's quiet, following Horst's lead and listening to his words carefully. Well, that was all they needed. Another case of insanity to deal with. Another chance of people they loved dying. Another shot to set things right and another stage of mourning and loss.

"Then we need to figure out how to keep him contained. And if that fails, how to stop him."
