Where: The Wastelands.
Rating: PG-13 at the most. Unless something seriously bad happens. Which I doubt.
Summary: Rei has received her Super Sailor Mars form and wants to test it out in the Wastelands... and possibly work out some frustration concerning how her Christmas went.
She had told Usagi where to meet in order to test out their new senshi forms, but Rei set out earlier than necessary to collect her thoughts. Receiving the wand had brought up several bad memories, none of which she wanted to revisit or relive... but Hino Rei, above all else, tried to be practical.
Super Sailor Mars was infinitely more useful and powerful than Sailor Mars. In order to take advantage of the Animus' gift, she needed to practice and become stronger. One of the reasons why she had lost against Aizen Sousuke (one of the many, many, many reasons) was because she wasn't used to fighting with the new powers that had been given to her by Pegasus.
So, once she had reached a suitable spot in the Wastelands, she took a deep breath and exhaled, clenching her wand tightly in her hand before calling out the necessary command:
"Mars Crystal Power, Make up!"
When the fire fell away, Sailor Mars replaced Hino Rei, and the girl strode through the snow, determined to test out the greatest weapon in her flame-based arsenal. She wasted no time at all in throwing her left hand to her side, feeling the power rise within her as fire appeared in her palm. The bow formed and Mars raised her right hand to pull back the string, aiming almost instinctively.
"Mars Flame Sniper!"
That tree that had been standing there just moments before was no longer there. Approach with whatever caution you deem necessary.
