Summary: Rain and Yuca meet up after 600 years, only to find that neither of them has changed.
Yuca was early.
He found himself waiting near the cemetery, glancing inside with a distasteful purse of his lips. Rain should be here soon. A Rain with six hundred years of experience to wear him down, to change his ideals. Despite their... disheartening chat, Yuca still couldn't quite believe that Rain was the same naive optimist he'd been ages ago. He wanted to see it with his own eyes.
This meeting wouldn't be what Yuca had expected when he'd shot himself at the laboratory, he knew that much. Something had happened- they were taken, against their will, and Yuca wasn't sure he knew the rules of this world as he did the last. He almost smiled at that. How cruel a fate, to take him away from the world he'd spent thousands of years on, the world he was coming so close to destroying, only to place him where there was nothing but helpful idiots and broken down buildings.
He simply had to work his way back up. Another few thousand years, another three or four lifetimes, and maybe he could bring an end to this world as well. That is... if the mysterious 'scientists' hadn't done it already. They seemed to be doing a good enough job without him. Perhaps, all he had to do was wait.
He was good at that.
