Armstrong apparently was late. ....HOw that happen he would not speak of, but at least he had arrived. He entered the greenhouse and smiled seeing all the people inside and working though he only recognized a few of them, mostly those from his world.
"Hughes, Hawkeye, Mustang!" He greeted them cheerfully.

"Come on in, Alex!" Maes called warmly. He gestured around at those already in the warehouse. "Skyler's working on turnips, Yuki's looking after the garlic, Neji here is helping with tomatoes, and Riza and Roy are looking after potatoes! There's still watermelon if you wanted to take a look at that, or you could join someone on their chosen plant!"

Armstrong sparkled faintly. "I'll plant the Watermelon then Hughes." He said cheerfully, happy to be doing something.

He looked a little alarmed when he turned up from the potatoes to Armstrong, but he gave a nod of acknowledgement. He thought about standing, but when he heard Maes instantly give his talk about plants he thought better of it.

Armstrong spotted Roy looking at him and sparkled at the man. Subtly. Like a light in a dark room Subtly. Oh yes. Armstrong knew subtle.

He looked slightly amused under his usual smirk as he watched Armstrong, lifting his hand as a way of greeting.

He needed to speak to the man, just like he and Hawkeye needed to talk.

Armstrong beamed and waved back. "Good to see you Colonel." Even if they weren't home Roy was still the Colonel to Armstrong. Unless told otherwise.

Riza turned around at hearing the booming voice. "Hello, Major!" she said warmly.

Armstrong sparkles and waved. "Glad to see you. Having fun?"

"Good to see you, as well, Major." She nodded in greeting. "I am having a very good time."
