Darkness, water. As his dreams went, it wasn't an unusual one, and the calm atmosphere was more than welcome. But still Jotaro found that he was holding his breath as he looked around him. Something was different, he thought; something wasn't right.

Something was about to happen.

He watched the water, tense, ill at ease. Something about the sound of the clocks, especially, struck a deep, almost sick chord in his gut. He focused on the water as the rumbling started, the ripples. Something was going to happen. Something -

He watched the dragons with wild, unconcealed awe that all but froze him in place.

The dragons rise up further, moving into a formation of sorts in which one stands out in front. The ones further back snap and snarl between themselves as the solo one seems to regard the person standing in such a place. Perhaps inspecting whether this was another friend or whether it was a foe. The calm doesn’t last for long however, the creatures grow more restless as time stretches one.

The one in front soon comes to a decision.

All hell seems to break loose as the surface acting as a temporary floor shatters. The dragons roar, a strange blue tinted flame beginning to form in their mouths as they prepare to strike. Teeth snapping for flesh, flames being thrown, very bodies trying to coil around this intruder.

In the distance, somewhere below, there is the sound of water again, a possible exit from the attacks of these dragons.

Somehow - but not unexpectedly - Jotaro feels no fear. It's a dream, after all, and it's a <>good dream, he thinks with detached amazement. He drinks in the power of the dragons even as they move to destroy him, not resisting except to move out of the way of the coiling bodies. There's nothing he can do against them, he thinks - if they want him gone, they'll have their way.

When he finally moves, it's more out of curiosity than fear for his safety. He wants to know what else is in this dream-world, and if the dragons finish him he won't get there. Jumping aside, dodging, he goes for the water - trying to dive in, maybe that would get him away.

The dragons seem to halt the closer to the water one gets, almost as though they're aware that attacking too closer will cause harm of some kind. The ticking seems to increase in volume though, louder and far more noticeable, perhaps symbolic to a particular event.

Passing through the water seems to once again lead to a calm surrounding for a few moments before it too is disturbed. The water swirling apart almost, at least it appears to even though there's obviously something similar supporting the person moving through the mind. The parting is small, three people coming into focus.

The three are standing close together, talking too quietly to be heard at that moment. A girl being supported in between two boys, a taller one holding the shorter's hand near his mouth. The taller boy's words become clearer as the water seems to draw everything closer, the shorter boy soon being noticeable as Kamui.

"You seem to have made a decision."

"...Fuu...ma?"

"You chose your future as a dragon of heaven, one of the seven seals... "Kamui"."

What the hell? Why would he be dreaming about Kamui? He liked the other man well enough, owed him more than one favor, but this was completely out of the blue. Jotaro could only watch with open confusion. He didn't understand the scene or what was supposed to be happening in it, it looked like... it almost looked like it belonged to someone else's dream altogether.

He took a step forward, towards the three figures, studying them for any hints of where they might have been conjured from, but nothing was forthcoming. The only recognizable element was the man he already knew.

"Kamui?"

The ticking in the background seems to stop abruptly, the rest of the words lost into silence. And then it all changes.

The girl from before now tied by wires to a metal cross, suspended a short distance from the ground. Kamui is a little distance away, calling out to the girl as he tries to move closer. Another him is holding him back though, a third him appearing on top of the cross with a sword in his hands. The original Kamui is calling out for it to stop. His words fail to halt the third him from striking, sword impaling the girl and even passing through the metal behind her back.

Feathers and blood.

All returns back to being water again, no trace of what just occurred is left behind. Almost as though it never happened in the first place.
