Nyu ( April 16, After Ginia Leaves to Meet Kaname )

After being tucked in bed, Nyu tossed and turned. She couldn't sleep, she was so worried about Matt. Sitting up in bed, she touched her PDA.

"Matt..." she whispered, pressing one of the buttons so the light would come on. Thats it. She decided she was going to go out and look for him. She stood and looked around. No one was around. Nyu dressed and made her way out of the sewers.

At the opening, she looked around. The streets were pitch black and deserted. Frightened, Nyu shuddered and inched back into the sewer opening. "Nyu..." she pouted. In the distance, she heard some screaming, a male scream. Instantly thinking it was Matt, she ran off toward the screams.

The body hit the ground with an audible crunch, the cracking of bones as it collapsed into a heap that did not resemble the human it once had been. The skin had been only partially removed, letting one half lay beside it like laundry unfolded. Pyramid Head reached over to yank his sword from the side of a building where he had placed it, letting the top half fall to the ground with a clank as the young girl approached.

That large helmet twitched as he turned his body towards her, the blood still fresh on his hands as the smell of copper choked the air. He took a step.

Nyu shuddered as she heard the bones crumble. "Nyuu..." she whimpered, trying to hide behind a dumpster.

Unfortunately, the beast had already spotted her and was making its way toward her. Panic stricken, Nyu ran down the alley, trying to escape. Darkness surrounded her and screams echoed in the city. The entire city seemed to be a mass of death and brutality.

"Nyuuu..." she cried out as the creature came toward her. The sword still dragging against the ground.

The alley was probably the worst place she could run, for it had an end against another building. Pyramid Head's pace was on the slow side, but steady, the steps and sound of scraping metal growing louder as he approached. Like a shadow against even the darkness of the night he seemed as he turned the corner into the alley. The fresh blood glistened on his hands from the little light there was in this place at night, but it was as if the world around him took a different look and feel, even when it really didn't.

He made no noise as he approached. Children, adults - they were all the same. More to be punished, and to suffer as the world suffered. As She suffered.

As he drew near, the large being raised his sword, swinging it in an arch surprisingly fast despite his initial speed.

Eyes huge with terror, Nyu managed to dodge the large sword coming down at her. In doing so, she tripped over a broken crate. In her haste to get back up she slipped again hitting her head against the wall.

Uncontrollable pain seared her brain. Holding her head, she felt Lucy taking over. Screaming out, she clutched her head as the transformation finished.

Lucy stood, facing her assailant. Stoic and undaunted, she unleashed her vectors, reaching for anything she could. One by one, she threw bottles and crates, cars and even bodies at the creature.

Yanking the sword back up, the large metal fell backwards as Nyu became Lucy, assaulting him with anything she could find. He made no noises as he was hit repeatedly, occasionally sent a step back, but he never really stumbled. Muscles twitched and rolled as cuts, gashes, and chunks of his own flesh were torn, but he was uninhibited.

As the body was thrown, he swung his sword again, cutting a large bit out of the side as the body flew into the adjacent wall, leaving a mark of blood and organs on the brick. Despite the injuries he was sustaining, Pyramid Head drug the sword forward as he attempted to continue the advance.

Lucy watched as it drew itself closer and closer. She surveyed the surroundings and decided the best chance she would have was to go up. Her invisible arms carried her onto a second story fire escape. She looked down and watched as the bloody sword slice through the bodies as if it were a hot knife slicing butter.

"This isn't human..." she muttered to herself as her vectors sought out more things to throw. "Come now, just a little closer," she urged. Lucy could feel her heart beat quicken with each sluggish step it took.

Unheeding of any possible danger - for really, when one was like he, there was very little danger other than yourself - Pyramid Head continued forward, seeming at first to slow to a stop when Nyu--no, Lucy was not there. Gripping the sword with both hands, he suddenly lifted it up with a speed he had not before displayed, swinging it in a large circle into the rusted metal of the fire escape. It sliced through one of the handrails on the first bit, causing the whole structure to shake.

Almost loosing her footing, Lucy's vectors raised her above the shaky building to an adjacent rooftop. She contemplated if she would be able to rip it apart, like she had before with regular humans who stood in her way.

Adrenaline, this was what she missed most. She couldn't control her change, and to her dismay, Nyu seemed to be more prevalent. Deciding to take a risk and chance it, Lucy glided down, her vectors making it seem as if she were floating in air. Coming within a few feet behind Pyramid Head, she unleashed two of them, trying to rip off one of it's sword arm. The other two were prepared to carry her to safety should her plan not work.
