Characters: Allelujah Haptism & Mello
When: After Mello innocently let Allelujah know about Lockon's intention to take a certain risk on his own.
Where: Random abandoned pet shop.
Rating: PG.
Summary: Lockon told Mello that he didn't want any of his friends involved in the revolution they were preparing. Mello has different plans, of course.

Mello had expected that, even if Lockon would accept to take part in Mello's revolutionary plans, he'd want his friends and lover to stay out of them and the risk they involved. However, it was important to receive as much support as possible, and obtaining cooperation from the whole Celestial Being group had been the main reason why Mello had contacted Lockon to start with.

Allelujah seemed to be pretty loyal and caring about Lockon, Mello could use that to his own advantage. If the man found out what Lockon's plans were, he might want to to follow his lover, if anything to protect him. That, or he'd try to convince Lockon not to offer his support to Mello. To prevent such an outcome, Mello would have to convince Allelujah that their cause was an important one; he'd have to give him a reason to fight beside his lover.

They were terrorists. They'd fought for freedom before. Mello was almost certain that Allelujah would understand the cause, just like Lockon did.

So he waited in the place where they had accorded to meet, standing firm in front of an empty pet shop with a chocolate bar in hand. And damn it, he was running out of chocolate.
