Characters: Draco Malfoy (sly_and_proud ), Ace (blueboxbomb ) When: shortly after this Where: Rosalie's clinic Rating: K+ Summary: Ace tries to teach Draco how to use the PCD
Ace was halfway not sure why she was up and doing what she was. He didn't sound a friendly bloke, that boy, or too eager a student... but he was probably just as lost and alone as she had been when she first showed up, before any number of strangers were kind to her, and besides Ace was all about second chances. Everyone deserved one, or two, and it'll be fun to test the limits of her abilities against someone's questions.
She let herself into the clinic without hesitation, hoping maybe to run into Rosalie and say hi. The figure in the corner caught her a bit by surprise - she whirled on him and stood staring for a moment, realizing that this was probably the boy she'd talked to be also that she didn't get his name.
Slowly, he left the security of the shadows and walked towards her. Her boisterous manner already making him have seconds thoughts about he situation. He may have to get acquainted to the muggle residents of the city, since there didn't seem to be a lot of wizards around, but he didn't have to like it.
"Took you long enough." Lifting his nose in true Malfoy fashion, he introduced himself, "I'm Draco Malfoy. And you?"
Ugh. Not such a good start. It didn't take her that long, Ace thought defensively as she looked at the boy - about her age maybe, not bad-looking. Looked like a plain human, which was a bit nice, and was she imagining things or did he have a familiar accent? "Call me Ace," she answered, holding a hand out to shake, though she had an inkling that it won't be accepted.
Still, she decided to gamble on something else. "You British? You sound it, though with a name like Draco..." maybe she was miles off. The Doctor somehow managed to sound Scottish after all...
Draco wondered at the name, Ace. It was strange. Stranger even for a woman.
He ignored the hand and glared slightly at her. "There's nothing wrong with my name. My family is one of the oldest and most powerful of England. I was named after a creature just as old and powerful, the Dragon."
