Too much... and then some
This weekend has been crazy. I have so many papers to write and its all due on Monday. I honestly don't know if I will make the deadline. I worked on them all day yesterday and today and now I have to keep working until tomorrow night at midnight. Its going to be a long time before I get to sleep. I feel terrible because my dog needs a bath and there are so many other things I should be getting done but I don't have time to do anything except read and type. Hell the only reason I am writing this entry is because I just finished a paper for my peace studies class and josh is proof reading it for me so I'm just waiting for that. I took a break from my papers yesterday to go get my dog some medicated shampoo from the pet store because her skin allergies are really bothering her right now and when I got there the store was empty. This is Ace Pet and Aquarium, ran by the same people who do Stepping Stone Animal Rescue. I have known these people for years and I have volunteered for them and they have helped me immensely. Anyway I walked around the building to the back where the owners, Ken and Carla were loading their truck. I found out that they are closing their store because of the constant vandalism they have experienced since they opened in that location. It makes me so angry, they are a great community resource for animal rescue and low cost everything and people have been breaking into their store. Ken said that nothing has been taken but it happened 5 times last month and countless times before that. The police station is in view of the front of their store I don't see how this could happen so often. They are still maintaining their rescue but that is based in Salem. I wish I could help them some how because they have helped me so much.
