Hello LJ!
Why hello my dear Lj! I have to apologize for my long absence from LJ, well writing in my LJ anyway. I do check everyday tho granted it's only for Bones related things or Podsicle. If you want a more up-to-date update your best bet is facebook or tumblr. Tho tumblr is really my place to put just funny things, quotes, movies, etc I find that I like.
Let's see thing that have changed in a year, wow almost to the day.
My sister now lives with me and has been since October when her boyfriend broke up with her. She still loves him even to this day I think but she's doing 1000x better than she was in Oct.-Nov. I like her living with me too. She's pretty much my best friend.
I got tenure at my job so I'll probably be there for a long time unless I do something severly wrong. Which isn't like me at all. I'm determined to make this my best year yet as far as classroom management and planning goes. Last year I did much better but there's still a lot of room for improvement. I think the best news is that I DON'T HAVE TO TEACH FRESHMEN!!! Alleluia!! They are the bulk of my problems.
Let's see I'm obsessed with Bones now and got my sister, a few students, and I know I'll get Holly obsessed too once she watches them.
I run the drama club at my school all by myself. It's a LOT of work but it's also a lot of work. The kids are great and work hard. This year we did Mame for the musical and Daddy's Girl for the play.
I'm still with Mark. No engagement yet not that I'm waiting just informing. Lol He lives two doors away from me with is nice.
Omg how can I forget! I got a kitty!! She's 7 years old and was the cat of our friends in Canada who couldn't keep her because her kids weren't too nice to her. Her name was originally Buttons but my sister and I renamed her Brennan after the main character of Bines. XD I told you I'm obsessed with Bones!!
Well I think that's good for now. I'll try to update more often. I miss it and need to start up again.
