One injured, one dead after two unrelated I-77 crashes

A couple from New York was hauling a travel trailer while headed northbound on Interstate 77 around 12 p.m. Friday when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
According to police, the vehicle struck the guardrail before flipping on its side. One woman was transported to Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
The crash is currently under investigation.
Just one hour later, a fatal accident involving an Oak Hill man occurred one quarter of a mile away in the southbound lane.
Police say the crash victim was dead on arrival after his vehicle flipped. The Oak Hill driver reportedly clipped the back of another vehicle before flipping over the embankment.

It was really scary but everyone is fine. My grandpa walked away unscathed and grandma has a broken arm.
