23

Through some co-incidence, and some not-so-co-incidence, the number 23 has ended up being a fairly significant number for my husband and I. It was through a rather funny co-incidence on a June 23rd where things began to change for us. And a month later, on July 23rd, we went on our first, official date.

On July 23, 2006, we journeyed to Stratford to see Colm Feore play the main role in Coriolanus. I adore Shakespeare and Colm Feore, and even though Graig was nowhere near the fan I am, he took note of my saying I wanted to see this play and asked me to go. I was terribly impressed by his initiative and very excited to go :)

So here we are, July 23, 2010, four years later. We're off to Stratford again today, this time to see the wonderful Christopher Plummer play Prospero in the Tempest. I wanted to see this production since they announced it last year and I'm so excited we're going. Once again, Graig took note of my saying I wanted to go, and made all the arrangements. I'm a lucky, lucky girl.

Oh, so because we already had these two, significant 23s in our life, we decided to get married on August 23rd. Y'know, just to keep it easy to remember :)
