It's 12.24 am on 4 Nov 2008 in Singapore now. Which means its like 11.24 am Eastern Time 3 Nov 2008 in the US.
so, since the battleground states of Pennsylvania and Virginia and North Carolina will be called earlier because they're on the east coast, I'd say by the time it'll be just after 1 am 5 Nov 2008 Eastern time, that we'd get a clear idea who won. If Virginia goes to Obama, McCain's toast unless he wins Pennsylvania. (Which is a big if.) If both Virginia AND North Carolina go, then we can call Obama the next President-elect.
So.... I'd say its about 36 hours to Obama-geddon!
