i recently received some bad news. not only is the drummer, jon - that ive been working with and getting used to and befriending for the last 8 months leaving to go to NY, but chris, the guitar player, coworker, and softball teammate is also moving to NY. both are moving to further pursue their ambitions with their creative arts which is very cool

About the grant, the way it works is they give you a certain amount for the whole year and then that amount gets divided between two semesters. If you don't take any classes in the fall you won't get that grant money, but you can still get the money for the spring after you register for your classes. Let me know if you still have any questions. I'm pretty experienced at dealing with university politics by now.
