Aha! Success! I have manipulated the chat tech guy from Comcast into helping without me having to give him the account number or my mother's soc! All I had to do was to do some crafty things with her check register. I am so lucky my mother is OCD and writes everything down. <333
Sadly, though, I cannot have my BBC America and have to schedule for a technician guy to come and fix it. I am sad.
